... being at Krasnaya-Polyana ...
It was not possible for me to be in Sochi and not to drive to Krasnaya-Polyana. I actually had big plans for travelling and kayaking at the mountains but it all was cut out after my son's allergy had became obviously increased in the mountain's forests. So all what we did was driving up on funicular and enjoyed the beautiful mountain's views.
Every time I am in Sochi I see that something new built up and this time wasn't exception. I saw many new tunnels had cut through the mountains, many new roads and bridges built. New lines of funicular and a huge amount of Hotels had built around. I can honestly say that I am proud about all this, that it is not only the rich can let himself to rest in Krasnaya-Polyana but every simple working animal like I am. $)
I was glad to hear about the plans to invest the big money to this region at the first time when I heard about the Olympic games in Sochi. There were a crazy amount of dirty comments about this idea. People was talking that all the money will be stolen, that all built by eye and hastily. But here I am and all is okay and finely working. And will be working and giving pleasure for everybody for decades.
Locals are crazy positive about the president's decision to spend so much money to revitalize the region what is not a surprise of cause, all they had additional jobs through the winter season. I spoke with the different type of citizens, from a taxi driver to a Hotel worker and all were glad about the holding of Olympic games in their city.
