OMG IT'S PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!

I am so profoundly moved that it's TODAY at last. And yeah, I know this is a STEP and not a magic wand, but it's finally a step in the direction I want to be going.
So I'm sitting here at my desk, with my shiny new inauguration teeshirt on (yes i am a sheep, hear me BAA) and with the go-ahead from the head of IT to stream it here in the office, so I get to see it live. I'm on the verge of tears, and before this election I had NEVER cried happy tears; but I have now and I'm about to again. The words profoundly effected don't seem enough and yet they're all I have.
So here's to us America, here's to that first of ten thousand steps on a journey to that better world we all talk about.
And if you're on the verge of happy tears, then I tell you that you are in good company.
