17 Again + Life
I had practically no money this semester (I worked a job for about three weeks and they never paid me --.--), and though I enjoyed eating Ramen with Alex and Brent as often as I did...it was eating ramen. The typical, student-with-no-money meal.
But I'm not upset about eating Ramen. Hahaha, naaahhh...I enjoyed that Ramen every time, for the most part! I'm just sad that I didn't have money to buy more gifts this semester. There were so many people out there who were so kind to me, or such good friends, whom I love so much...Mom and the little sister went out tonight to buy presents. They ended up going without Alex and I because they had planned so earlier on. Also to get us gifts, I believe, without us seeing.
But I don't want any more gifts! Being with family is good enough for me! ♥
I don't even have enough money to buy them more things... (--.--)
But it was nice staying home! I worked on the computer for a long time, but watched the movie 17 Again with both Nana and Alex. THAT was enjoyable. I hadn't seen that movie since I was on the plane to or from Japan (can't remember which, though I'm leaning towards to), and I remember enjoying it so much. Zac Effron does a great job in the movie. He just plays such a likeable, addictive character, and though I never really considered him all that great-looking, he's really not that bad-looking in this movie!
I was really, really happy, though, that Nana enjoyed it so much. I haven't seen or heard her laugh at a movie in a LONG time. Granted, the one scene I remember her really laughing at was the part where Zac Effron keeps getting slapped for having a party in his friend's house, but it was still worth it! ^__^
I'm really tired, and I shouldn't be up this late. We're having guests over tomorrow...anyway, I'm going to just call it a night and get some sleep. Have to get up early to do some cleaning. And hopefully tomorrow or soon I will get to write about the trip home and post that story I have in mind...
