(no subject)
so yeah, my father (aka paul) has finally decided to show up, which if i was a good daughter, would be a good thing...
but im not, and it aint a good thing
this means that i get to sleep on the couch and have to be woken up at 4 00 in the morning bc papa greenwald wants to use the computer so he can go onto chat rooms.
oh well...tomorrow is the start of hannukah...or at least i think it is tomorrow
...and i bought 5 cds this weekend:
-the killers- yes, it is embarrassing to succumb to the indie- mainstream-hipsterness that this band has achieved...so far ive only really listened to the songs "somebody told me" and "smile like you mean it"
-brian wilson: smile- great beats, classic beach boys, but i must say brian wilson's voice really has gone to shit
-les savy fav: inches- i haven't really listened to this one too much yet, but from what i can tell so far, it should be a winner
-green day: american idiot- come on, who can honestly say that they havent loved green day at least at one point in their life... againl i havent listened to the cd much yet but the title track is so gosh darn catchy
-the moldy peaches- pure moldy peaches goodness...so random and wonderful... you know that velvet underground song "after hours" and how there's that random kid signing on it? yeah basically every song is like that, and it's a double disc! what more could i want?

IM GOING TO SEE THE PIXIES IN EXACTLY ONE WEEK FROM TODAY
i wouldve mentioned it earlier, but i just found out about it
it is very exciting
