Things I wrote forever ago... and not so forever ago
Kevin said people hardly post on LJ anymore due to face book (and yes Kevin you should get one), and as this network was my first "blog" I want to keep up with it. And I have yet to find a way to post things on Facebook so this works too. I have a lot of thing I wrote down in my personal journal in the last year. Some I hated right after I wrote them, so I edited, most I didn't. Little poems and thoughts that were this year, but I will not put dates on them. You can guess, you will be wrong with a couple. Just because, some of these were written at very confusing parts of my life which I would have never let on, good luck though. = )
Wishing.
I wish to be free.
I am still stuck
to which should never
fully be broken, but
should become
more distance as time goes on.
Our lives intertwine,
mostly for a brief time,
hardly ever for life,
and we become more
of ourselves through
these entanglements.
We remain, we try to
remain, distant from
our roots, but end
up being close, if not
identical to that
of which we try
independence from.
If we are to become
more like them,
why not let us
be us, just for
a little while
