how do you say "get over it" in a nice way?

I know its not very nice and its definitely easier said than done , nonetheless... their comes a time in everyones life where we find ourselves at a point in our lives that requires us to either grow up/move on & put all childish things behind us... OR... stay put in self pity looking for 'someone' to make it all better, rather than looking within.
I feel that we ourselves as individuals/independetly need to be able to sustain/find love within ourself for ourselves before we can 'share' it with someone else/others, don't depend on anyone else to 'fulfill' you. its impossible to do so without the other being left empty (not a mature thing to do)
In other words 'get over it' , somethings just aren't meant to be,
live your life and let others live theirs just because you're not happy and things aren't how you'd like them to be doesnt give you the right to try and drag them down w/ you
*I could say/write more but that would be mean
