I'm a Russian journalist & orientalist living in Indonesia for the last decade.
Why I was there? Although I know it's impossible to see ALL Indonesia in a single lifetime, I'm still doing my best...
And sorry: didn't keep any contacts as there were no plans to be back in near future: moving on...

Dear Sir;

I am making now an encyclopedi about all the ca. 300 dynasties and ca. 200 semi-dynasties of Indonesia,which will be published in English in 2016.I shall go to Timor 13-6 to make researches chief imperial dynasty of Sonbai in W Timor and also try to meet the 2 chiefs dynasty of the paramount emperor of Whole of Timor.6-10 september is the Festival Keraton Nusantara IX in Bima.I know the panitia.

My dream is to make a serious film about the kerajaan2 of Indonesia.
I know many dynasties.

Maybe we can talk via facebook,or my e-mail.
Timor area and Sangir Talaud islands have my special interest.I already make research about kerajaan2 Indonesia for 40 years.

Naturally, it is impossible for me to keep following up every theme covered in this blog - there are over 1,900 postings here already.
Besides, I have already used practically all the background on Sangihe I've managed to find...
Still, if you plan to come to Bali (I live in Ubud) would be glad to meet in person. There is some interesting info on Kutai not touched up here yet...
