FINISHED TWO BOOKS THIS WEEKEND!! "Hot, Flat, and Crowded" and "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat", ROAR!  I'm getting pretty stressed over my little reading project, which was started as part of a "getting my life straight and actually doing things that I always said I want to do" effort .  And I shouldn't be. It's silly and I ought to be enjoying this, savoring it. I think, the real issue is the big stack of the books/reports I need to / want to read for work that's sitting on my desk (and I do feel time pressure in finish this stack ASAP because of current economic climate and job market mess), but I also wanted to read a more diverse selection (e.g. non-work related).  Plus I write outlines/notes for each book, which takes quite sometimes.  Originally I wasn't going to include any books I read that are work-related or textbooks in the reading project, but I will have to change the rules. Else it's just not feasible.  *sigh* Yes, I'm rambling and procrastinating at work right now. So sue me.

On a lighter note, Star Ocean 4 is not looking so bad now (originally mistaken the green haired guy for a girl, oops. i had issue with what looked like a almost-all-girl cast. good that i was wrong), so I do hope they release it on PS3.  The pretty screenshots are reminding me of the goodness that is SO3.  Even after so long, still have lots of love for SO3, the characters (minus Sophia and the chivalrous dumbass that Fayt can be sometimes), the gameplay, the game environment.  At any rate, replay SO3 will be less commitment than starting FF12 (very pretty, promised to be very different, good plot, and still in shrink wrap, ha!).

rant, rl
