Please Turn Off Cellular Phones
So today....... I was gonna go to the gym, but it rained and I was no longer in "gym mood". I'm gonna go see War of The Worlds tonight. It looks like it will be good, but it's a Steven Spielberg film..... and we all know what that means. Tom Cruise is in it, as most of you probably already know, and it appears ,from the previews, that he'll do a superb job as the lead character. I guess I'll just have to wait and see though.
With other news... I beat Area 51 on XBOX, it wasn't that cool because it's one of those games that forces you to win........ navigational points, unlimited lives... that sort of thing. Anyway, I beat it and I was highly upset with it's anticlimactic ending. The last level is a mad dash to a hole in the wall leading to the outside of the base.... and the only thing in your way is a helpless grey alien. So you shoot it, it dies and you approach the hole and everything goes blurry and the game is done........
My last church softball game this year was rained out.... isn't that sad. Yes of course it is, but I probably would have thrown my arm out anyway ... so maybe it was a blessing.... and of course the whole drought situation I guess kinda got helped out.
