I'm not sure how to say I am now. Well, mostly, sad the rest. I'm sure that is to be expected.
I'll be going to the mountains soon. I hope to find solace. There I will walk the Appalachian Trail, as many did before me, I once with him. At the summit of Clingman's Dome, 6,643 feet above some of the most beautiful scenery in this world, I'll find the final resting place of my Father's ashes. I know no other way of stating it other than saying, I know it's what he would have wanted. It seems to me the most poignant ending to a most inspirational story. He lived for me and died for himself. No regrets.
