All great things have small beginnings

I just turned in my resume to the Pike House Corps president.  I  am in the runnings to become the newest  house dad  for the fraternity.   In the past, this would not have struck me as the best idea, but I guess old age and the need to look to the future has led me to believe that this is this great opportunity is before me and so I'm grabbing.  The job would entail going to the weekly meetings of the fraternity and alumni board, going to all in-house events and looking out for the general well being of the members and the house.  My payment, I would live for free, pay no bills and  eat for free.  I'm excited to have this opportunity to serve the fraternity after becoming so disconnected.  And, of course, I would be able to save money so that I may move away to a big city, try my hand at theater and culinary arts.  I move that I've been dreaming of lately.

I fell that I've been missing out on traveling while I'm young.
A list of places I haven't yet found the time or money to visit:
(let it be know that each of these destinations come with a visit to the food places within 100 miles or so)
France, Amsterdam and most of Italy (I'd like to get lost in the least touristy regions for a month or so)
Millegeville, GA
Man Fran to see Lil' J's new digs
Portland to see Craig Cundiff, Patricio and the Redhook Brewery
New York for food, Upright Citizens Brigade, culinary arts campuses, and Les Halles (Bourdain's joint)
Chicago to see Josh when he's there, catch a few Second City shows, and visit some culinary arts school campuses
The Aspen Food and Wine festival
Miami Food and Wine festival
Las Vegas for the great food, Cirque du Solei's LOVE, and to see Mike Speed and Mary once they move

I need to be inspired and the BR just ain't gonna do it.
