Brrrrr!!! Saw an astounding play this afternoon. Maybe because my expectations were so low, but still! It was a "pay what you can" 5-show engagement in a transitional space, about community activism (the fight against Atlantic Yards, which is literally in the backyard of my building). The play was entertaining, funny, thought-provoking... not earnest or dippy or any of the things I've come to expect.
