So I've settled on a winter term project. After a lot of deliberation and some dead ends and plenty of suggestions from all sort of people, my decicion was basically made for me. There's a winter term orchestra this semester that will be conducted by Robert Spano and will be performing in Carnegie Hall. I was invited when one of the bassoonists originally selected to be in the orchestra backed out. I'm terribly excited. I don't know what parts I'll be playing, but I couldn't care less. Working with Mr. Spano will be worth it, I'm sure.
