So I've just been informed by a good friend of mine who's back in Seattle of dire news. The choir that I sang in in high school is lacking very many members. The folks who are singing with them are great and super dedicated, but to be a real choir that's taken seriously they need more people. I actually feel like crying because of this. Diverse Harmony was the light of my life since the moment I joined. It was always the highlight of my week. I always loved being at rehearsals more than anything else going on in my life.

If any of you happen to know anyone between the ages of 13 and 22 in the greater Seattle area who would be even remotely interested in singing with Diverse Harmony, please let them know about this. If it ever dies, I don't know what I would do with myself. It would deserve an obituary in the New York Times, as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, I'm in kind of a subdued mood all of a sudden. Sorry about the dreary entry, but seriously, if there's anyone you know, point them in DH's direction. Thanks y'all.
much love,
Max
