What was the first song you ever heard by 6?:
If I were a guessing man, and in this case I think I have to be, I'd go with "Where We Shine"
What is your favorite lyrics of 5?:
That's a tough one. "On the Bus Mall" is the first thing that comes to mind, namely
"We reigned at the pool hall
With one iron cue ball
And we never let the bastards get us down
And we laughed off the quick tricks
And the old men with limp dicks
On the colonnades at the waterfront park"

9-ish, 2, 2, 1, 2, 7-ish, 0, 1, 0, 2, respectively
What is your favorite song by 7?
It's tough, but I think I'd go with "With Arms Outstretched"
Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
Not really. I mean "Duct Tape" is a sad song about his dad leaving when he was young, but there's not really one that makes me sad.
What is your favorite song by 2?:
It changes often enough. "Beats Like You Stole Something" is fantastic, though "Best Things" was definitely my favorite for quite a while.
What is your favorite song by 9?:
"My Favorite Chords" without a doubt. I think it's honestly the sweetest song I've ever heard.
What is your favorite album by 5?:
Probably "Her Majesty"
How did you get into 3?:
It was a multiple step process. I saw him do a few songs between sets at a show at First Ave in the fall of '04. Then he played at Warped Tour last summer and I caught his last 2 songs or so (When I noticed I was standing right next to Slug from Atmosphere who was also watching, I figured he must be good). Then, last August he played at a Cardinal Sin/Small Towns show and after seeing that I was hooked.

"Get Real"
Who is your favorite band member in 6?:
Defintely Becky. How many bands do you know of that have female drummers in an otherwise all-male band?
Which of the 10 has influenced you the most?:
Probably Motion City. Mostly in the sense that they were the band that got me most into the local music scene. If not for them, half of my list probably wouldn't be there.
What is a good memory concerning 8?:
I don't know that there's anything specific. Maybe just everytime I rediscover that album and realize I love it more than I thought I did before.
Is there a song by 10 that makes you sad?:
Definitely. I could probably name a bunch for a variety of reasons, but I think "I'm a Loner Dottie, a Rebel" would be my top choice.
What is your favorite song of 1?:
Probably "Time Turned Fragile". I think one of the biggest reasons I love them is their drums, and that song has what I can only refer to as a "sweet drum groove" at the end.
How did you become a fan of 7?
I downloaded a couple of their songs when I first discovered Bright Eyes/Saddle Creek records. After that, it took until Erika played "I Never" on our radio show for me to really get into them.
