I wish this day could have gone on for longer
Today has been a really good day. I met up with my friend H in her allotment house, where she and her family lives almost half the year. The cats love it - far better than an apartment in town :-) . It was so lovely there I was tempted to sit in the shade of the apple trees all day... But I had other friends to see, this time in the Castle Garden café. It's behind the museum, only open in summer, and I had never been... L and N had a late lunch (red pepper and yellow beet risotto and poached hake with fennel) and I had the apple tosca cake. Afterwards we split a carrot cake threeways. The food was absolutely delicious, and so was the cake. I'm a bit tempted to go back for an early fika tomorrow. Unfortunately, no pictures, so you'll just have to imagine the lovely surroundings and the gorgeous weather. A perfect Swedish summer day!
