WOO BAND
Well first of all we won band of the week for the local news!! WOOT WOOT! Go Band of Bands Mighty Pirate Marching Band. XD
And second... we went to UIL Region X Marching Contest. We GOT SWEEPSTAKESSS~!!! WOOOOOO That means we got a 1st division rating from all three judges. We can move on to Area competion in Houston!! xD AHH sooo fun. But my mom heard some lady talking at the contest and the lady said: "-insert band names here- got ones. But we don't have to worry about them cause they aren't advancing to area cause they are military marching bands." >< WHAT A DUMMY!!! Being military has nothing to do with it. If anything we are better than the others. That march in circles and blah blah blah. We have our own special contest for us anyway. HA. Which is right after Area contest. So basically i has no Saturday in October. ALLLLL Of my saturdays have been taken. Dx
Oct.3- Clean up a house in a nearby town for community service hours/ Heartbeats of Hope (cancer patients benefit dinner and actions)
Oct. 10- Project Graduation Garage sale (which i technically didn't go to all of but like an hour and a half ><)
Oct. 17- Region Band Marching Conest
Oct. 24- Area Marching Contest
Oct. 31- National Association of Military Marching Bands (NAMMB)
So yea bascially reallllly busy >< And that also means no Halloween again. Last year our Homecoming was on Halloween. Which that was actually really cool. Especially our lights out show. Ahh~! i love marching in the dark. Main reason is that we dont have to have good posture and no one cares if you mess up a bit. AND i can let my flute not be level. XDD
But our director said if we do good at area (or maybe it was todays contest ><) that he'll let us tour the elementary schools for halloween...IN COSTUME!! That would be soooo fun! <3
I guess thats about it.
Oh and i need more dramaaaaa. I can't wait til i can watch the ones i've been dying to watch with friend-Darling that we have put on hold for like EVAAA! Dx And the new drama season looks pretty good. Well imma excited for a couple. Like ROMES!! I wants OhYas Nao YS.
