I am so confused.
For those of you who aren't heterosexual males, this is probably going to come as a big of a surprise. I don't think it's something that happens to any other gender/orientation.
A staple of animation is that young boy characters are often played by adult women. This leads to situations where I'm not really paying attention to what's happening on the screen, and suddenly say to myself "Wow, whoever that is, they sound hot."
Then I turn around and I'm looking at a character that's supposed to be an eight year old boy.
It's even worse when I look up the voice actress and find out she is HOT. Then suddenly the entire time the character is talking, I'm picturing this gorgeous girl. It is one of the most confusing, awkward, and creepy things I have ever experienced.
Damn it, voice actresses! Stop sounding so hot all the time! It's freaking me out!
