Plagiarists deserve face-punching.
I'm not going to get into the whole long story about Ozymandias, the plagiarist who got caught plagiarizing, got all huffy and outraged, was eventually proven to have purposefully plagiarized, swore he'd never do it again, got a second chance, then immediately turned around and did it again. I'm really just posting that because I think plagiarism, particularly when you're stealing from people who produce their work for FREE, is one of the scummiest things a person can do. And so help me, internet people, if you make me have to explain to you the difference between derivative works (licensed or not) and plagiarism, I am going to have a goddamn aneurysm.
I hate plagiarists with a fiery passion, and I hate plagiarism apologists even more. Fanfiction is not the same as plagiarism, and I am more than happy to offer punches to the nose (metaphorical or otherwise) for anyone who disagrees.
