Sometimes I realize I'm a little bit odd.
Bored, I decided to play through God of War 1 and 2 again for only the second time. In doing so, I realize that the previous (and first) time I played through it, I did so while listening to a series of lectures on the life of Thomas Jefferson, which has led to some very unique recollections.
There is something very strange about ripping off a harpy's wings in spectacularly bloody fashion and then thinking, "Oh hey, that reminds me of Thomas Jefferson's interestingly hypocritical letters against what he saw as the British institution of slavery, and his belief that it was Great Britain's fault that America had become saddled with it thanks to them. Uh-oh! Axe-wielding minotaur! Look out!"
