Buffy fandom
Here is my impression of what it seems like any discussion of Buffy or Xander winds up becoming in the Buffyverse fandom these days.
Side one: Xander is an evil lying manipulator for lying to Buffy in Becoming, thus forcing her to kill Angel!
Side two: Buffy is a spineless bitch who should have killed Angelus way before Becoming if she were REALLY a hero!
Side McGregor: Um, is it okay if I find both of their actions to be sympathetic and flawed reactions of real human beings who are neither perfect nor wholly trusting?
Both sides: Fuck you! Pick a side!
