Kai Ryssdal of American Public Media's "Marketplace" daily economic news show doesn't have it.
At least not this time.
Today, he closed his show out appologizing for stating on Friday that the British Royal Family being on Twitter was a sign of the impending apocalypse...especially after this tidbit.
Sponge Bob Squarepants turned ten years old today.
Why this mattered to a program like "Marketplace?"
Seems Spongebob is an $8 billion a year industry.
Eight Billion.
Billion with a B.
As Kai said, "He's a sponge!"
Trouble is, Kai said it with this air of disbelief that had me laughing.
Of course he's a sponge and he's turning over 8 billion.
What do sponges do for a living?
SOAK STUFF UP!!!!!
