Sex - Again, Jeunet does not shy away from the depiction of sex, and infact almost seems to embrace it. One of the main characters, Nino, works in a Montmartre sex shop where many scenes take place, and there is also a short scene near the beginning where Amélie guesses how many Parisian couples are climaxing at that moment, followed by a montage of fifteen set ups of couples in the act...
At which point I realised I would have to be reading this aloud to the class in the morning, and promptly deleted most of the second sentence. It can go back in the exam board version if it must.
In other news, I have to cough up £250 for Indy replacement (thankfully there is a birthday present which I did not cash in so that knocked a neat £100 off at least), Mother and Father got a kickass new printer which I am going to play with and make pretty fanart prints, and Aurora died (NSFW peeps) and whole family is angsting because of it. WE SHOULD NOT GET ATTACHED TO THESE CHARACTERS BUT IT IS SO *HARD* T_T
Also, NaNo is being stubborn, but I am planning on beating it back with Kunoichi. Well, Ninja Strippers. What do you expect, Treacle threw the bloody party -.-
