Best sober night, ever!
I'm sorry if you guys thought I ditched you tonight. I thought I made it clear that I was going to Sam's to hang out and play video games. I didn't have any reception in the basement of her house, sorry Andrew.
If you're all curious, it did go better than I expected and as good as I could hope for. We really seemed to hit it off. Her dad seemed to like me in the few minutes I spent in his presence. Her cat, Daisy, and dog, Ginger, both liked me and that impressed her dad. Her sis came and played video games with us for a bit and she kicked my ass. Sam, on the other hand, was upset that I kicked her ass at Tekken 5 (thanks, Andrew), Soul Calibur 2 (thanks, Ankur...not that he reads these), DDR Extreme (thanks,...lonely nights?), and Super Smash Bros. Melee (that one is all me). It was still fun for her, I think.
We went upstairs and tried to play Super Smash Bros. (N64), but her friend never returned it, I guess. We ended up sitting in the kitchen playing with her animals and talking. Then we got sleepy and she started playing with my hair (haha, you know where this is going). She has long, press-on nails that feel really nice in hair and down backs. When she got tired, she kinda laid her head on my shoulder...it was really nice.
I had to let her get to bed, though, since she works at 9am (ugh). She did walk me out to my car, though, and we hugged...yeah, just hugged, but it was nice and long. Then her dog wanted to come with me. LOL. Star and Buddy are both going to be jealous.
It's crazy, cuz it feels like we've known each other for a long time. I really like her. I hope she feels the same. Oh yeah, I quit cigarettes as of right now.
Now I head to bed and pleasant dreams...I'm off tomorrow, so let me know who's doing what.
