We ended up having to go to the clinic yet again today and so I got home a little after noon. Gotta love short work days. :) So, rather than doing school work I thought I'd take a few minutes of my extra time to update this crazy journal. I finally figured out how to put up a picture, thanks to Lies for instructions and Tayryn for the pic.
There's not much to tell I suppose. I was sick this weekend and still have a horrible cough, but I'm finally starting to feel less sick and yucky, though not quite all better yet. I managed somehow even with a fever to write the final paper for my psychology of gender roles course (crap class really, big waste of time, oh well) and now just have my two big violence assignments to do. One of those is almost finished and the other not even started yet because it's really just busy work and I hate it, but it is half my grade for the course so I'll force myself to get it done this weekend. (I hope. Eep!) Then I'll have to do my gender final, which is take home thank goodness (since I haven't done any of the readings in weeks), and then I'll be finished for the semester. Yay! I'm taking the summer off from NYU because, well, I need a break.
I signed up for a fiction writing class this week, which I'm really excited about. It's through the Gotham Writer's Workshop and it starts tomorrow and runs for ten weeks. On 15 May, I'm also taking a one day character development course with them. Hopefully it will be a good course and I can work on some short stories that can later be incorporated into the longer story I'm attempting to write. I've had the worst writer's block lately, as those of you who read my fics will realize. When I can't even write AD/MM you know something is wrong. Anyway, that will make tomorrow a busy day what with writing class, psych class, and a chiropractor's appointment, but hopefully good busy.
Sigh, my head hurts in that asprin won't make it go away kind of way so I think I'll go rest for the rest of my time before class. I was going to leave early and walk there, but my knee kind of hurts so I think I'll be lazy and take the subway. Oh well.
