Today Steve and I were offered to take a TESOL course free of charge, I think that this is fucking awesome. We were intending on taking one once we returned back to Canada, just in case the urge hit us to travel and teach again (which I am sure will more than likely happen). Not only is it free of charge, but it has saved us each a 1000$. SO GOOD. Having this certificate with three years teaching experience under our belts should open a few more doors for us. Excited is YES!
So the plan to move home has some sort of structure. At first I was going to take a course that began in September, but then I really got to thinking and I decided that completing my nursing diploma, which begin in January, is probably the best move I could make. I don't really want to to commit myself to Canada for too long. I know that after a year or so being there I am going to want to get up and go. So TRAVEL NURSING is the perfect career choice. Also I get to feed that burning desire to help people. So people we should be home sometime late October or early November.
I feel as though things are starting to make a little more sense and I am that I am serving a little more of a purpose. I was really starting to wonder. I mean waking up late, swimming, sunbathing, reading gossip magazines and shopping are all wonderful things- but I was sort of second guessing what it was all supposed to mean.
In June we are heading to Korea to see Joe and Heakyoung be married. I am pretty excited about that. It will be my first offical I'm an adult and my friends are now getting married wedding.
anyways. thats about it. Life is good. Work is not. The air is hot. I've got a rockin' tan going on.
