So, just out of my Mechanics lecture. I found out that a professor of Particle Physics is Manchester University was once in a band called Dare, as the Keyboardist, and wrote the song "Can Only Get Better" by D:Ream. And he gave it up...for Physics. *sigh*.
I'm not so sure my lecturer liked him so much, after putting on a programme about gravity that the said man was presenting, he proceeded to put the D:Ream song on, and put up a picture of this professor's old band, and mocked him for a lengthly period.
Yet again, uni has taken the life out of me, it is only 11.10am and already want to go home. I was sort of wishing that the protesters from last week would come back. They barricaded themselves into the McCance building, and had a sit-in protest, because our Engineering Dept helped make and/or develop something which was put in a fighter jet bombing places on the Gaza Strip. It's quite unfortunate really, but it's hardly the Engineering Department's fault. They just...do their jobs. Again, *sigh*.
Well, I only have another 43 minutes until my next lecture, geometry (yay :|), and I have some assignments to do, so it should be totally fun filled.
