Aaaaand here's all the moleskine prismacolor goodness. Basically, as
p01s0n3d knows, I've been snowed in for quite some time (since last Sunday, actually) and the result has been an explosion of creativity. All of these drawings were done within the past few days.
The black and white ones are charcoal pencil heightened with a white charcoaly pencil thing (Generals, yay!) and the color ones are Prismacolor. I've got the 24-set (aren't I blessed?).
I didn't draw this from life-- no way he would've sat still for that long; I used an old photo for reference. So he looks about three years younger than he really is. :D
Is this, then, what happens when I sketch and listen to Southern Belle? (They're a local band; I love them quite dearly) My mum called it an abstract turkey. I'm rather more amazed by how it looks good from any angle. Yay for non-representational art!
I like drawing androgynous people. I'm not sure why. I know I would love to go out in drag if I could. Anyway, green! (This picture has no point.)
Tried a different method of highlighting important lines by using black instead of white as is my shiny wont. I messed up the checkered bit which is why it is now shaded. :D Don't we all love Alice?
So then I kidnapped a hipster and made him pose, which is why his smile looks so awkward... nahh. Just experimenting with faces and drawing without erasing. I really ought to finish this, he looks so plain.
Okay, okay, so this was supposed to be a picture of her dress, but I messed up in the outlining of it and started it too low so now it's just a picture of her breasts. Aha. Fun to draw, though. I should've made her curvier...
This is essentially a creepy hand. :D I modeled it after my own (don't hate on the spindly-fingered people!) and then did a sort of cross between block-and-sphere construction and um, anatomical... detailing? Yeah. Basically a creepy hand. I refrained from making it a severed cross-section because I felt that would be a bit much.
Annnnnd there are two more which I haven't photographed yet; I've been scribbling these at about the rate of two or three a night! :D Ahaha. Like I said, an explosion of creativity.
