Things I should be doing besides posting in my LJ
Let's make a list, shall we?
1. Writing my Lit Studies final paper
2. Going to the store and getting another passport size picture and groceries
3. Looking for jobs
4. Working on my Stagecraft project
5. Studying for my PoliSci final
6. Studying for my Russian final
7. Cleaning my desk
8. ... Anything else
I always post more when there's other stuff I should be doing. :D
But! on the bright side, my polisci paper of death is DONE. I just turned in all my paperwork for Study Abroad, and all the work for my Community Service. So I AM getting some things done... just not the most pressing ones at this time.
And I know it'll come back to bite me in the ass later tonight when I'm still writing this paper at 4am.
In other news, Dionysus was lame. We got there at 9:30ish because THAT'S WHAT THE EMAIL SAID, but there was no real reason for us to be. Perhaps so we can be drunk already when the party is open to everyone at 11? Whatever. Had a couple glasses of wine and a jello shot (not much, right? I definitely didn't feel anything...), but Reen had that, a margarita shot and little when she and Martha were playing wine pong (which was a bad idea). She ended up throwing up three times, and one time it was on my feet. Luckily, I was not wearing my suede shoes, so it didn't really matter, but it was still kind of like the icing on the cake. But the cherry on that icing was this guy who is in my polisci class, and he made fun of her as she was throwing up. How much of an ass can you be? I was too shocked to say anything at the time, but I wish I had, because I would have killed him. What a bastard.
Then, in my toga (yeah, wearing a toga, by the way) I went to Joani and JJ's birthday party at the NERV guys' house. By this time, Joani was shwasted. Like faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar gone. Which was hilarious. But then, I had to make sure she got home ok, and didn't drunk dial anyone (which she REALLY wanted to do. She kept asking where her phone was: "I dunno Joani, where'd you put it?" *hides roommate's cell phone behind back* I didn't mind this, but I felt really bad for her in the morning because she had a really bad hangover and threw up a couple times. :-(
Saturday was pretty chill. Went to Wittfest for, like, 30 minutes and went home. Hellogoodbye was playing, and their songs are generic and techno, and I usually like them, but they're not good live.
Sunday was also chill. Went to Mrs. Fry's farm/nature preserve and it was gorgeous. I saw a hummingbird!! Everyone thought it was weird that I haven't seen a lot of animals that aren't outside the city, but I can't help it that I've lived in the city my entire life. They were all slackjawed when I said I had never seen a deer up close. It looked like this--------> 8-O
This is the last week of classes!!! And then it's finals and then I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
