Yes folks, I'm overdue for a proper update. But you know what I'm even more overdue for? Photos! I've got some from a lesser publicly-seen part of my life: working with my horses. This is in Indiantown, FL; not my usual Beavertown, PA. (I move my horses around a lot.)
These pictures were taken at my place in Indiantown. No pictures of my "house" there (I just live in a trailer when I stay there), and only Billy Boy made it into the pictures. But, beggars can't be choosers, right? ;)
This is me in my stable. May not look like much, but I like it. I got a good life. I wake up in the morning and say, "I love my life."
Here we come...walkin' down the street... This is me and Billy Boy. Don't you love the scenery? It's so quiet out there. I really like it. My life is so frantic whenever I leave there.
Preparing lunch for the horses before heading out to the beach for the afternoon. I spend several hours each day taking care of my horses. I train them, exercise them, feed them, look after them... This is my pleasure. My horses are my passion.
No, this horse is not injured. I wrap their legs to protect them from flies. (You'd be amazed at the damage the little buggers do.) Fly repellent simply isn't enough.
Here I am, restoring an old horse-drawn cart I purchased from some Amish folk back in Pennsylvania. They were simply going to dispose of it, but I thought it looked a right nice cart! So I bought it, and I've nearly got it put all back together. Still needs a lot of work; needs to be reupholstered, repainted, the hinges and wheels greased out...
Being in show business DOES have its perks. I was able to purchase a property with its own private fishing pond, right there on the premises. It's lovely.
