I took a half day today. My knees started aching very badly through practice so we figured that practicing for another 3 hours would only make it worse. So I am getting some things done; my flights and hotel is all ready and I am making a list of what to bring. Most of it is food and comfort items. I am going to finish my paper/school work that should've been done when I moved here, but was able to put off sndI am FINALLY getting to my unintentionally avoided email.
I decided when I get back from Torino, I am going to reward myself reguardless of how I place. But it will have to wait until after Worlds.
I don't understand these low-carb diets. I think that is because in Japan, most of what we eat is carbs. Red meat is saved for special occasions (it is too expensive) and chicken is more common, but only in very small doses. Seafood is the most common "meat", but even then it is never the main part of a meal. I have to frequent vegetarian resteraunts to find things that aren't chock full of meat. It is another thing I will have to get use to.
