An important update about everyone's favorite Michael!
Michael began having abdominal pain last night at around seven p.m. By midnight he decided to go to the hospital. After several tests, it was determined that he had appendicitis.
He had surgery shortly before noon and was out into recovery by one.
The surgery was a success. He had an appendectomy and the doctors were able to get it out before it burst. He'll be pretty doped up for a few days, but will recover well.
If any of you are in his classes, please let his professors know about this. He will have a doctor's note, of course, and should return either Friday or this coming Monday.
