Dang!
I just found out the McDonald's in West Frankfort is on a hiring freeze till Mid February. Damn, can't believe MCDONALD'S isn't freaking hiring right now.. Neither is the one in nearby Marion.
Well, I guess i was right to not just assume McDonald's would be a sure thing as far as employment goes.
In other news, went to the Taco Bell interview.. dunno, guess it went okay. I made the girl laugh a few times, but she couldn't tell me much about the position ("I just do the interviews") she said. Dunno..
After that, I went up north to Benton and filled out some applications up there. There was a gas station near the highway that actually had a "Help Wanted" sign out front. So, maybe that'll come to something. Also, stopped by another gas station WF and left a message with the worker there to give to the manager.
Dunno.. I keep hoping, but..
