So, it turns out my doctor actually increased the dosage of one of my medicines several months back and I have NOT been taking the proper dosage.
DOH!!
In fairness, I don't get this particular pill from the pharmacy, so the dosage on it was listed, so I'd just been taking "one pill". There's actually supposed to be a second pill in a small dosage I was supposed to take as well. One of the nurses asked, "Well, you haven't been doing so well the past few months, have you?"
I said, "No, but 'No doing so well.' Is kind of a relative term when it comes to my life."
Luckily, I was able to get the pills a local pharmacy for not too much money.
In addition, one of the other anti-depressants I was taking is no long available through the program I was getting it from, so they've switched me to a new one. I'll be starting it on Monday.
HOPEFULLY with the new dosage and the new med, my mood will improve a bit, and my emotion will stabilize and I'll be able to start organizing myself better and doing things to fix other areas of my life without everything seeming all dim and hopeless.
Fingers crossed.
