Well, when I went to the movies (see my last entry) my friend wasn't there. Turns out he was really tired from unloading the truck at work that day and just forgot. That kind of sucked, but on the up side, the movie wasn't too bad. Nothing phenomenal of course, but it had a lot action and stuff (even if parts of it did get a bit too damn LOUD for my tastes.) Why do so many theaters think LOUD=GOOD? What's really bad though is in a quiet moment you can hear shit going on from the movie playing in the next room...
There was some good news though, ran into a guy I had meet at the Gamer's stores in town a few weeks back. We talked a bit and that was interesting.
Afterwards, I went over to Wal-Mart to pick up some "now and then" supplies. You know, stuff you just gotta buy every once in awhile? That, to me, is the hardest stuff to remember. I mean, most of the food and other things I need I usually get about every time I do the major shopping for the week, but stuff like soap, razor blades, dishwashing liquid, etc, tends to slip my mind.
