The Olympic Carrier tune that follows is downright haunting, strings scraping under a bow like nerves under tension, In some ways, it's an unsettling tune to tie in with the image of Lee and Kara in the brig, but at the same time it's hauntingly evocative - something that can't be ignored, that scours its way along all those primal parts of the mind.

I knew that I was going to use the Olympic Carrier composition from the get-go, in my mind I always associate it powerfully with Pilots and Pilots only; and this exact part of Olympic Carrier where flute is piercing your soul was used several times as background music for Lee and Kara in moments like the well-known “Since I Got Shot?!” moment from TCH. So blame the author’s preferences ;)

It's as strong an edning as this vid could possibly have, one that demands to be watched intently, the change in pace so complete compared to what came before.

Well everybody’s welcome to watch intently and live through these seconds with Lee and Kara, because the extended brig scene is one of the most beautiful scenes in the whole show. It’s also my way of telling “this is Canon, Bitches!” among other things :)
