Марикс. Вопрос. Как делать мигания? Н чтобы просто кадр подмигнул - ушел в черное и тут же вернулся. Никак не найду такую штуку. она просто сверху накладывается, как фильтр или это эффект и надо куски разрезать, в потом склеивать с помощью перехода какого-нибудь. Я знаю, что у нас разные программы, но все равно, смысл-то один.

Это делается не с помощью переходов, а с помощью шаблонов (которые, совершенно верно - накладываются сверху) и уровней прозрачности, так называемых. Я не знаю есть ли возможность создавать такие эффекты в той программе, которую ты используешь.

At last I am able to download your vid--I have been having trouble with my internet this week. And it is more awesome than I could have imagined.

Your grasp of effects and how to use them to increase the emotional intensity of the vid is incredible! This vid grabbed me by the heartstrings and didn't let go. IT is so very very Lee and so sympathetically so--I am overjoyed to have found a vidder who really understands his perspective.

That appeal--not to mess with him--it gets to the heart of what Lee feels about Kara, how vulnerable he is to her. Because if she gives him any sign, if she plays with him, he's lost to her. He's tried, he's really really tried to get away from her, assuming that she doesn't really care, that she's 'faking' it. You capture this more perfectly than any vid I've seen.

I’m very very glad you enjoyed this vid in particular, because I think it was the most difficult vid for me to make so far, technically and emotionally (--the main reason why I couldn’t even find words to write some kind of proper description or notes about Don’t Mess With Me, what I meant it to be about and things like that…)

Good luck with your Kara pov vid! I would find that very hard, though I'm sure it would be very interesting and it's great that you're still finding challenges for yourself.

Yes! So true! He's been in that pain, that struggle for so long now. It's painful when they're apart, painful when they're together... so I think he's also reached the place where they may as well be together if it hurts this much (Romo echoed this idea).

Here via bop_radar's rec. What a lovely video! I really sense Lee's confusion about Kara and the way she's messed with him in this vid. I particularly like the freeze frame shots, just to pause on Lee a bit and while he tries to figure her out. And it ended too soon! I wanted more, but that's okay because I will watch it again and again. I particularly will watch the opening sequence again. Really, really liked this. Thanks!

Freeze frame is one of my favorite effects; it's simple yet it can underline lots of things that usually slip away from the viewer. And pilots' relationship it's a fount of shots breathing with exceptional energy you can't help trying to catch and prolong for a few seconds at least :)
