Thank you! :-) I just felt compelled to do it quickly. Haven't felt that way about vidding for ages. It's so funny people keep saying how hot the guy is who played Graham but to me the crucial factor was a story about a guy who dared to get his heart back in the world of hearless zombies... and payed for it. But he still dared. He also challenged Emma with his child-like behavior. I remember I was laughing so hard when they got to the tomb and then he looked up and saw the sign from the book and Emma asked him - What is it? And he said - This is my heart. I just laughed my head off I think because I imagined how dumb this whole exchange must look on paper in the script without actors brining life and meaning to the words)))). And then I fell for it because it still feels kind of clumsy in the episode but instead of being ridiculous it plays out exactly the way it's supposed to - highlights Graham's illness, his skewed state of mind, how feverish and desperate he is to the point of not hearing the way his nonsense sounds. What is just as amazing is the fact that Emma stops caring too! I just adore this scene. She makes sure he's serious, asks him agian if he's sure his heart is there and then just smashes the door))). "Ok... Let's see" No questions asked. Reminds me so much of Lee after Kara's return. Ok you sound crazy and maybe plain stupid but I believe you (don't really know why) and I wanna help you because your war inside touches me deeply. It's just beautiful...

Am I a fool to have found this story promising I wonder? Guh. Anyway. I doubt that watching just for Henry and Emma will be enough for me. I just mainly fear them screwing with Emma's character. Which to me they'll definitely do if they introduce another love interest sooner than in a couple of seasons. And unfortunately I don't ship her with Regina like some people do))). It's a great feeling when you feel compelled to make something fast, I think! :) Seize the moment and get that catharsis. :)

Yeah, I was pretty immune to Graham's looks--I only got interested in him at all when he started getting his memory back.

This is my heart. I just laughed my head off I think because I imagined how dumb this whole exchange must look on paper in the script without actors brining life and meaning to the words))))
That's awesome!! Yeah, they really sold it. If you imagine the script it's TERRIBLE. ;) But when someone can show they really believe it, like this actor did, it's something else entirely. In an episode like this, I could believe in the 'fairytale' past life of these characters. With others (like Jiminy and Cinders) it felt more of an active effort to suspend disbelief.

Yeah, there's something about the way Emma agreed to test people's beliefs (both Graham's and also Henry's when he first guessed about Charming) that was really seductive to me. While on paper it might seem like she was saying 'ok, well if they have to see the truth for themselves let them' she actually opened the way for them to prove their own truth, and when some additional sign came (Graham's certainty, Charming waking up) I could see how her own beliefs might shift, were starting to despite her, no matter how 'crazy' that might seem.

:D It's true! And I see the same with her and Henry--her heart reaches out to him and wants to heal him. I think it's harder with him because she's the adult and he the 'irrational' child. With Graham, a fellow adult, displaying such beliefs, it was easier for her to let go ... that makes sense. I just want to see her believe in Henry's words and not go on being a cynic... it's such a fine line between her manipulating him and respecting him.

OMG, people ship her with Regina?!! Of course they do. LOL, why do such things continue to surprise me. Well... I doubt that's the ship the showrunners have in mind for her but I also fear they will inevitably conjure some other love for her, yeah. :-/
