Thank you for commenting!

I think the funeral theme in the big Adama family as well as on this show has been prominent since the very beginning; if anything, the first time we watch Lee and Kara interact with each other on screen they discuss it like the show's starting point was actually two years prior to the events of miniseries. So I thought that working from that perspective and exploring the subject using the cycle of time as a guide that the show itself is kind of reinforcing seemed appropriate and challenging.

The lightening stuff was put together within the last few hours. I'm glad it worked because I was actually torn between leaving it there and risking to seem out of context for some viewers or deleting it and thus making the vid feel incomplete for me.

Also loved how the Zak/Kara/Lee scenes were mixed in together.

This is probably my favorite sequence in this video, certainly the one I envisioned right after listening to the song for the first time when Jennifer suggested to use it.
I hope that Kara's experience of burning her own body will prove to be not just symbolic but also cleansing, cathartic in more ways than we might expect it to be.

Seriously...the whole thing just rocks. Awesome job. :D

Hee :) Thank you!

And Happy Birthday, M! I hope you have a wonderful day and a great BSG evening. Please show, give Sky the present she deserves!

This works very well as the thematic undertone, IMO. The funeral clips combined with the space battles drive home the idea that death (and the end) can be right around the next corner. I hadn't thought about the cycle of time playing into it, but it really does.

For me, the lightning in the beginning ties right in with the volatile situation they've been in since the miniseries. I'm glad you included it!

I loved the Zak/Kara/Lee imagery because I've been feeling that maybe Kara's discovery on the planet and the burning of her body was very symbolic. Who or whatever she is...she's not the same person who was engaged to Zak, IMO. I have the same hope you do about it being cathartic.

Thanks for the B-day wishes. Please let me take a moment to wish you a happy one also. :D

Thank you. I had a nice day and my show didn't disappoint for the most part, which is also something I should treasure these days :D
