Just made giant amounts of truffle mix! 2/3 regular chocolate, 1/3 orange flavor.
Gotta let it chill, then PART TWO.

Can I get your recipe? I've been wanting to learn how to make truffles for the longest time.

I have a feeling that if I do, Void's mom won't let him get rid of me after that xD

Your hands /do/ get hella messy, I haven't tried the glove thing.
For the record, grated orange peel is far superior to extract. At first it's barely noticeable but then the aftertaste kicks in and it's like *A*

So you add the orange zest in the mixture as an extra, or coat it with it?

Extra - coating might be too much flavor. I didn't use all that much (didn't count exactly how much) for this batch and it's pretty orangeblasty.
Incidentally, the butter I use for this is salted. It doesn't specify in the original recipe, though.

Awesome. I may do a batch of regular and one of orange. I may also think of doing some with mint or coffee liqueur in the future.

Mmm, mint.
I am debating doing mint and citrus in the same batch at some point but that may be meddling with powerful forces man was never meant to understand.

I've never been a fan of mint and citrus with chocolate. It always has to be one or the other. They're both very strong flavors (and I can't take citrus in large doses), so I'm not sure if they'd blend well.

When I was a kid we had these citrus and mint candies which generally went pretty well with chocolate.
Orange might be weird, but lemon could work.
Maybe I'll make a lemon batch and a mint batch and eat 'em two by two.
