'It's really become the season of full-blown snow, hasn't it?'
Speaking of snow,skis come to mind. The other day,when I went out to go shopping,I heard Shonentai's 'Wangan Skier' in the
middle of the streets and it brought back my high school winter memories. Music is a mysterious thing, isn't it? The song came out when Ohno-kun was a Junior, before you became part of Arashi, right?
What memories does Ohno-kun have of 'Wangan Skier'?'
- Amazing! How nostalgic.
I think this song was when I was in my 2nd year at Kyoto. I was 17. Mm. And then I sang this song in Kyoto. I watched Shonentai-san's video to learn the choreography for this song. I did an Ohno Satoshi version. And then, well, at the time we were the main cast, so to speak. Me and 2 others. So well, we often did Shonentai songs.
So to me, Shonentai has a 'Junior' feel. Of my own accord. (laughs) So to me,this brings memories of winters in Kyoto.How nostalgic!
Now,um,Nishikiori-san has a part where he hits the high notes. And a part where he sings in English. For some reason I was put in charge of that. At the time,I couldn't really hit that note. That was really close. (laughs) Felt like I barely made it. So I remember that part.
Once, um, Shonentai were on Music Station. And then behind them were V6, TOKIO and Kinki (Kids),I think? J-FRIENDS were there. It was like everyone was co-starring and backdancing and it was kinda impressive. I thought,How cool! That's something you don't often see.
Mm. So there was that too. This song brings back quite a few memories. I'd like them to sing it again, Shonentai. And then I'll backdance.
I often think this every so often. 'I'd like to backdance! I'd like to complement them!' (laughs)
Arashi often says this, too. Like 'I wanna backdance for V6!' Some day it'll come true."
