Another day in the office. Things are picking up a bit work wise. Looks like they will have to find another position for me here in Hawaii by next September. Perhaps sooner. To tell the truth I hope they do sooner than that. While this job isn't that bad, there really is not that much work and I am under utilized. Need something with more focus and more structure to work within.
Last Saturaday (11th) I went to see Cirque Hawaii. It is mostly and acrobatic show in an old IMAX theater in downtown Waikiki. Had two excellent magicians do a performance! It was pretty fun.

Sunday I swam in the pool and spent some time practicing with the snorkel gear again. I pretty much have it down now. I think that if I am going to swimm with the fins at all that I am going to go buy some weights.
My new binoculars came. Really an improvement over the old pocket set I had and are not much bigger. Now, of course, there has only been one small cargo ship off the coast for the last week and nothing else. Before that the Navy was doing maneuvers and there were about four really intersting cargo ships. Just a matter of time until something interesting turns up to watch. My new camera with telephoto/zoom lenses should be turning up any day now.
I was coming back from Pearl Ridge Mall the other day and saw a Firedance.org bumper sticker. I had to assume that it was probably one of the FireTribe people and on looking it up on the internet I found that the two are related so my assumption might be accurate.
My plan for this coming week is to go out to Electric Beach (near the electric plant on the West (Leeward?) side of the island and try snorkling in the ocean. I pick up my PFD (Personal Flotation Device) or life jacked for the Kayak on the 15th. Then it goes on top of the car. I am now considering an inexpensive underwater camera.
Had to reschedule the Motorcycle safety Class for Friday the 24th. Sigh...
HAVN2MUCHFUN's birthday is in a few days so I have to get off my butt and do some last minute shopping...
