Sore as poop this morning from the PT test yesterday. Mostly underused push-up muscles.
I finally got around to doing my "2005 in a Nutshell" summary of the year. I backdated it on LJ to 1 Jan 06.
Got the inspection teams kicked off to do the buildings today. Annual requirement sprung on me at the last minute. Should get report in under the wire. Just not the best way to do business. I am deffinitely going to set up a 'Smart book' for my replacement whoever it may be.
I am listening to the 2004 Grammy nominees. Not too much left to listen to after you skip past all the cRAP on the CD. Pretty sad to see that most popular music is made up of posturing twits with generally poor attitudes toward life. Note that I said popular. Maybe I should have said Top 40. Yeah, I tend to repeat myself on this issue...
Today I have gone to the dark side. Today I am wearing my brand new ACU (Army Combat Uniform). It is comfortable. But, I hate that it is really considered a combat uniform. More like an office uniform. Here is the funny thing. When I went to put my foot into the boot I found the bicycle light I used in Kuwait on my mountain bike. It brought back the memory of furiously pedalling around the ring road next to the wire perimeter in the dark on the way to the gym. Had to smile.
Looks like it will be a mellow day followed by a short weekend. Will spend one day of it in motorcylce class.
