I have been kinda away for half a year from the fandom to taste being a fangirl in kpop, apart from being busy with work. And it turns out to be very tiring. My time spent with Arashi was filled with laughter and tears of joy (if not, from too much laughing). They kept me moving forward and encourages me to do well in this life.
My KPOP fandom, in the other hand.... is just filled with angst, fanwars, dramas and only a little bit of laughter and (a lot) squealing. They might have been the perfect ones... both in terms of singing and dancing. My Arashi is nothing compared to their skills and yet, Arashi gave me so much more. I've only been in the fandom for not more than 3 months and I'm already tired of being in there. Arashi's imperfectness is truly their best charm... Its heartbreaking to see a group that is very perfect but go separate ways forever like this. Thought tired as I am, I still like their music and will still continue to support that group whichever path they take.
8 years counting of being in Arashi's fandom, I'd like to say I would continue being their fan till they retire from the business. I might not squeal at them like teens do, but I grew up with them and it was a very pleasant rainbow-and-sparkles filled journey. I might not buy any of their releases anymore but I do still support them with all my heart. I still do buy their concert goods though... too good to pass that one hahaha <3
In the end of the day, I know whenever I feel down, depressed or stressed at real life or work, Arashi will always be there to make me laugh and get me back on my two feet.
Now, forever, and till eternity I will be a fan of yours Arashi.

and for my new KPOP fandom, they know their fans will follow them till the end of the world. I will never see them on stage as a 5, but those times they spent as a 5 will always awe me. Good luck for their own separate paths. I might support the duo more but I do love the angelic voices of the trio. The acapella that no one can beat, the time they spent rocking the stage with their dances, their presence dominating the stage, will always stay in our mind. And hopefully someday in the future, your paths WILL cross with each other's and greet one another as friends do. In your fans' memory and in mine, you will always be a dazzling group of 5. *see? kpop makes me mellow.... =,( *
