Rebuilding Begins

What was the point? What point is there in fighting a war for equality amoung all magical folk, if we immediately set out to allienate entire sub-groups of society? How does fracturing the wizarding world help to bring us closer together as a community?
Breaking news in this morning's Prophet, Ministry elects to save the world after the fact by subjugating the masses. I cannot even begin to describe the level of outrage I feel at this moment. I knew it wouldn't be easy. I knew it would take a lot more work to fully realize our goals after Voldemort was destroyed. But this?
any who have been accused of such activity in the past be the claims verified or not, werewolves and other dark creatures living amoung us, as well as all relatives or known associates of the same.
This is utterly ridiculous. By this standard, because he obviously associates with me, a known werewolf, as evidenced in the fact that I've been haunting his bedside, Harry Potter, the 'Saviour of the Wizarding World', would have to register as a suspected insurgent!
But, I have to reign in my reactions before I leave to visit with Harry. The last thing he needs is to deal with this sort of stupidity. What is the world coming to? The young man who killed the darkest wizard in generations could be considered an insurgent because he chooses his associates based on something other than societies prejudices and the man largely responsible for providing the information to make Voldemort's defeat possible languishes in prison.
I have been so focused on Harry and Glamis, I am ashamed to admit I have not thought to check up on Severus. Reports indicate he was unconsciouos when he was taken into custody. It would be just like that man to go and die on us so he doesn't have to face the fact that we actually managed to succeed. If he lives, does he know what's happened? Does he know Harry lives, that he kept his promise to Lily?
I need to talk to Minerva.
