yep. we're already here and done packing in the ol' ridge crossing. the whole moving process wasn't that bad, cos we had a LOT of help. everyone we called showed up, so it was pretty cool. rented a truck so we'd get it all in one trip (last time, we used a van and three cars, and it SUCKED), packed other people's cars, and everyone helped everyone out. i'm so glad that it was a pretty organized move. it could have gone horribly, but it didn't. Nick's dad came down to help us, so that was REALLY cool. i think it was almost last year when we saw him last. i wish we could visit with him more and his wife. Robin is super nice. um...what else...we moved the cats a day before we started the actual move so they wouldn't be completely stressed out, although when we took them to Nick's mom's, Merrick didn't come out for a day or so, but she's okay now. i think she's actually more social than she was before and that's another really cool thing. actually, they (the cats) all seem more laid back than they were before we moved. maybe they think we're in a better apartment, too. heh.
and now...time for a subject change...you guys know how ADD i am, heh.
we've got some badass stuff for the outside of our apartment.
1. a neato welcome mat that looks pretty gothic, and stuff.
2. that's right bitches, a jolly roger \m/ it's so fucking cool. i love our flag.
3. and a welcome pineapple. yes. it's exactly that. a pineapple that says "welcome." (from my friend, Andy, in Chatt)
so excited. and i can't wait to put up our skull and crossbones...we'll be the terrors of the neighborhood, mwahaha. if anyone knows where ridge crossing is, you'll know exactly where our apartment is cos of the jolly roger flag. *does a dance*
but we don't really know where we're gonna hang up the pineapple...cos we can't put a hole in the siding...cos then we'd have to pay for it...and we don't wanna do that.
and yeah. that is all for now, cos i keep drifting off in daydream land. hah. i can't focus anymore.
