An offer I couldn't refuse
tomoe_daeva asked me to post some pictures - I couldn't say no for reasons uncertain, so here are some photos I took. To begin with, our not-as-cold-as-Dae-would-like-to-think sea! XD
View from the Brzeźno beach towards Gdynia (NW).
View from the same spot, towards Hel Peninsula (N). When the weather is good and the sky is clear, you can see it on the horizon with the naked eye.
View from the same spot, towards the entrance to the port (NE) with a lighthouse visible in the middle.
An old beacon, once used to aid in ship navigation but today most likely just a curious landmark.
Another view of Gdynia, from a point closer to the port. In the foreground you can see the remains of a fence that used to separate the main part of the beach from the bit that goes along the port grounds.
Closer look at the port strip of the beach and the port entrance. In the centre of the photo you can see a pile of rocks along the sea line, where my grandfather used to go fishing. ^^
And that's it for now. Next time: I have no idea! XD
