thanksgiving break
i'm just going to layout what i did over break before i go into some finer details of my mind.
wednesday: went to see "i'm not there" at montgomery and then went to sam's where there was many people i haven't seen in awhile.
thursday: Turkey day. went out to eat at this place in new brunswick called Sir John's. having thanksgiving at a restaurant was bleak compared to thanksgiving at my house. dull but okay.
friday: went to princeton with kevin, ellen, jordan, and sydney. got some small world. went to labyrinth books. sold some cds/dvd at prex. later, went to josh's house and watched ninja warrior and hung out.
saturday: thanksgiving redux was good. went to sam's later and there were many people there again. saw more college kids and just hung out by a fire.
sunday: went out for breakfast with ellen and kevin. went to the bent spoon.
i feel this break was extremely necessary in keeping myself sane. it was reassuring seeing all the college crew and makes me anxious for winter break. all fun aside, i really need to focus all my time/energy towards my portfolio still. i only have 2 more weeks of art class which should help. i am going to start experimenting with color mediums [paints and shit] and put a collages together. i have been siking myself out lately and questioning way too many aspects. i really need to just do what feels right and go off that.
