Travel Addiction
So...Cork was freakin amazing. We spent Friday night in this absolutly incredible pub that played Radiohead and all kidns of other awesome bands all night and ran into some incredible musicians there. We ended up going home with the same musicians the next night for a jam session at 2am. Haha. There were about 6 guitars, 1 violin, and a set of bongos...with all 15 people singing. It was amazing! I'm going back for more this weekend...after I get back from London;) Really. I enjoy rubbing this in. Haha.
I'll be in London from Feb 15-18 just sort of on a whim. It's midterm break and I had no where to go...and I could get to London for about 20 euro. Flying here rocks. You can get anywhere for nothing. I'm starting to feel more and more like America is isolated from the rest of the world. But yeah. So...London. I'm staying at a really popular hostel in the middle of town...should be an experience. On the 18th, I'm flying into Cork, staying a night there, and then back into the professional world. But professional world isn't bad. I really love the kids here. We have all kinds of fun. I had them doing yoga to calm down the other day:) Haha. They think I'm crazy but we have an understanding...and they actually really like yoga. Go figure. So yeah...school is going well. I'm teaching 5th class this week...6th class next week...and then it's next door to 1st-3rd, which is my forte so that will be a blast. Though, I'm actually really enjoying the upper grades. I'll probably end up in 3rd-5th in the end. Under 3rd they're too dependent and over 5th they're too bratty. So yeah...off to put together some lessons and...you know...sit. Email me, people!
