In summary...

So. I've bee in Ireland for a week now. It's...interesting. Updates here will be rare as I only have dial up internet for oh...30 minutes a day on average. Most of that time will be spent on email and scrambling for lesson resources. Needless to say, it's a bit scarce on technology out here and it's made me realize how incredibly dependent I am on technology.
In short, the kids here are wonderful. The school has only 3 teachers and 56 kids. Each teacher has 3 grades! On top of that, there is no office. In fact, the principal teaches upper grades. It's a little crazy. But that gives me a good opportunity to just take off with one class. Unfortunatly, since communication was nearly non existant before I left (apparently due to the lack of internet), I way overguessed my departure date. So, I'm hoping to be back around Easter. It's difficult to get around and I don't think I could entertain myself that long.
Anyways, life here has been rough. The weekends are great. The whole town goes out and it's a 3 day party. But...weekdays are awful. EVERYTHING closes at 6 and there's not a soul to be seen anywhere. Most nights my goal is not to cry myself to sleep. But I suppose once I get used to the silence it will be better. It just gives me too much time to miss home. Who would have thought I'D get homesick? Ridiculous. Anyways. Drop me a line. m2resolved@gmail.com. Miss you guys!
